Action on Elder Abuse (AEA) Northern Ireland is delivering its first national conference, supported by the Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland (COPNI) and sponsored by Ulster Bank, to explore the nature and extent of financial abuse of older people and focus on working collaboratively to address what has been described as the ‘crime of the 21st Century’.
The conference, at the Dunadry Hotel in County Antrim, will be on 30 September. For full details and to book see here.
AEA’s briefing paper on financial abuse of older people is also now online and available here.
