Third UK and Ireland Mental Diversity Law Conference

The Third UK and Ireland Mental Diversity Law Conference will take place at the University of Nottingham on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th July 2023, preceded on 5th July with a preconference for research students and early career researchers.   Registration will open in early March, but the call for papers is now open.

The following plenary sessions are shaping up with confirmed speakers in each plenary theme as follows:

Mental health law and the digital society

Healing houses: How can we ensure therapeutic settings beyond hospital are available to people experiencing acute mental distress?

The network has secured funding from the Wellcome Trust for the third time to ensure at least 20 per cent of delegates and half of the plenary speakers will have lived experience.
