Inequitable access to transplants – adults with impaired decision-making capacity

In a slightly odd coincidence of timing, given the recent decision in the case of William Verden, an article that I have co-written about adults with impaired decision-making capacity and inequitable access to transplants has just appeared in Transplant International.   It is open access (i.e. free) and we hope that the article will prompt debate about strategies for non-discrimination, the developments of policies, as well as further research in this area.
