Assisted Decision-Making conference 28 April: preparing for first contact with the AMD(C) A 2015 (with lessons from practice under the MCA 2005)

The Bar Council of Ireland are hosting a one day conference at the King’s Inns in Dublin on 28 April for legal practitioners (both barristers and solicitors), to prepare them for first contact with the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015, which will have come into force two days previously on 26 April.

The chairs are Ms. Justice Niamh Hyland & Áine Flynn – Director of the Decision Support Service.

The speakers are Prof. Mary Donnelly, David Leahy SC, Grainne Mellon, Emma Slattery BL, Aisling Mulligan BL, Natasha McKenna (Natasha McKenna Solicitors), Aileen Curry (Curry and Hickey Solicitors) and me.
