Voting and mental capacity – the facts, not the myths

As we head towards local elections in England, a reminder of this excellent post by Lucy Series (from a couple of years ago) to clear up some urban myths about mental capacity and voting, the short point being that no one has the right to prevent another from voting on the basis that they consider that other person does not have the capacity to do so.
