Advance decisions and disability rights – in conversation with Gill Loomes-Quinn

The next shedinar is here (and, coincidentally, with very good timing in light of the decision in the case of Barnsley Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust v MSP [2020] EWCOP 26.)  In it, I learn about the work of Gill Loomes-Quinn, who (in her words) is a disabled scholar-activist, with a background in community advocacy.  We discuss, in particular, her PhD research around advance decision-making in the context of disability (and her cat makes an important contribution right at the end).

Gill’s blogpost we discuss towards the end can be found here.
